Q: What is a Vehicle Wrap?
A: A vehicle wrap, also called a car wrap, car skin, or auto wrap is a printed vinyl covering that adheres directly to your vehicle.
It is often mistaken for a custom paint job. We print an air egress wrap material on our in-house printer and then laminate it for
additional protection. We apply it to your vehicle by hand using heat to conform to the contours of your vehicle.
Q: Will a vinyl auto wrap damage my paint?
A: No. A car wrap does not damage your car’s paint. As a matter of fact, some people put clear wraps on cars specifically
to protect the paint underneath. However, if the paint is already damages, or the car has been poorly painted, or did not cure
properly, there is a possibility it could lift. SIGNCO WRAPS is not responsible for your paint job if any damage occurs.
Q: Will there be seams in my wrap?
A: Sometimes your wrap will have seams. This depends on the size of your car. We have skilled installers that use as few seams
as possible, and normally are not even visible from just a few feet back.
Q: Does it matter what color my vehicle is?
A: No, you can not see through a vehicle wrap to the paint. If you plan on getting a “partial” wrap, we can incorporate your paint
color as close as possible into the wrap so they will match and compliment each other.
Q: Is the roof included in the wrap price?
A: Wrap companies do not generally include the roof in the price of the wrap unless you ask for it. The reason is that most roofs
can not be seen and people do not want them wrapped. If you have a small car that sits low to the ground it is a good idea
to get it wrapped. Ask us to include it when pricing your wrap.
Q: Will I be able to see through the windows of my wrapped car?
A: Yes, If you get perforated window film on the windows you can see through them. State law prohibits the use of this window film
on the front passenger and driver side windows. If you prefer, we can have vinyl covering the windows. Some companies that
have work vans with equipment inside prefer this.
Q: Can you wrap an ABS plstic bumper?
A: We do not recommend it, but we will and can wrap a plastic bumper. It is not recommended or guaranteed to last or adhere for
the duration of your wrap.
Q: Can I take my wrapped vehicle through a car wash?
A: It is recommended that you hand wash your wrapped car. However, you can take it through a car wash just like you did before
it was wrapped. Do not scrub the window film as this could scratch it.
Q: If my car gets wrecked or partly damaged can my car wrap be fixed?
A: Yes, we can easily replace the damaged panel and you will be charged only for the portion or panel that we have to re do.
Q: Will my wrap peel or fade?
A: The vinyl wrap manufacturer warranty guarantees not to fade or crack up to 36 months. With proper upkeep and maintenance
will generally last 5-7 years. Well worth the investment!
Q: Why should I use an auto wrap as opposed to vinyl lettering?
A: Vinyl lettering or contour cut vinyl graphics is a cost effective form of advertising and we offer that as well.
But if you can afford to invest more money, a wrap can catch more attention to advertise your business.
Q: Will you provide art proofs prior to printing?
A: Yes, we will not print your wrap until you have approved your car wrap design.
Q: Do I need to wash my car before I drop it off?
A: Yes, please wash your vehicle a day prior to bringing it in to our facility. make sure it is free from grease, dirt and oil.
We will also wipe it down with alcohol and prep it for wrapping.
Q: Can you wrap other things as well?
A: Yes! We have wrapped tables, desks, golf carts, walls, floors, coolers, cranial bands, cups, you name it. We will need to look
at the item and let you know if it can be wrapped.
Q: How long will you need my car?
A: Depends on the size and complexity of the vehicle and whether or not we are doing a partial wrap or a full wrap. Wraps can take
anywhere from 1 day to 10 days. Each job is custom. Please allow the correct amount of time for your wrap so that it is not rushed.
